EMMA LOU "LENNIE" NEAL, Age 85, a resident of East Prairie, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston.

Born April 23, 1931, at Lawrenceburg, TN, to the late James Harrison and Martha Elizabeth McCurry Russell, she had lived in East Prairie most of her life where she was a member of the New Harvest Freewill Baptist Church in East Prairie.

On November 27, 1964, she married William Edward "Bill" Neal, who preceded her in death on April 17, 2015.

Surviving is one brother and sister in law, Claud and Pam Russell of Sikeston; one sister, Mary Bell Dement of Charleston; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers Lewis Junior Russell, James Carlos Russell, William Edward Russell, Joseph Jefferson Russell, Franklin Russell and Hewey Russell and four sisters, Betty Sue Humphreys, Billie Jane Aycock, Florence Russell and Margaret Helms.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Bill Adkisson of East Prairie, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Jim Russell, Roy Russell, Chris Russell, Lee Russell, Michael Russell and Nathan Guthrie.
