IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Erica Ann
Leffler
July 30, 1987 – May 8, 2022
After a long, valiant fight, Erica Ann Leffler, 34 years young, ended her battle with cancer on May 8th, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was loved and adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Though she left us far too soon, the legacy of Erica's strong will, kind spirit, faith in God, and passion for music will live on through those she loved so fiercely.
Erica, a Charleston, MO native and supporter of the Blue Jays and Squirrels, graduated from Charleston High School in 2005. She went on to attend Southeast Missouri State University before pursuing her love of music in the the city she adored, Nashville, TN. Nashville became her home and was ultimately where she chose to spend her last days, admiring the Nashville skyline.
Erica was a woman of many hobbies and talents and lovingly known as a Jack-of-all-trades. She made her career wherever she could help others. You could always count on her to get things running efficiently and set things right when they were wrong in her stern but loving way. No matter the job, she put her whole heart into everything she set her mind to.
Erica had a light that sparkled in all aspects of her life. Her bright blue eyes and infectious smile was enough to fill the room with an indescribable positive energy. Her deep love for others was unwavering and unmatched. Throughout her battle with cancer, she often stated that she felt that love returned in so many forms from so many people and it was such a blessing to her.
She was a stickler for addressing the "elephant in the pink room", self care, and family support. A final gift to this world, Erica made an anatomical donation to Restore Life USA that will be used to continue her cause of raising awareness and to the advancement of Triple Negative Breast Cancer research and treatment.
Erica is preceded in death by her father, Robert Oliver Leffler and grandparents, Oliver John and Ruth Ann (Wicker) Leffler-Dooley and Clem Joseph and Lucille Vivian (Delk) Hart.
Erica is survived by her mother, Marcia Renee (Hart) Leffler of Charleston, MO; siblings, Shawn Robert and Rebecca Ann Leffler of Fenton, MO and Zachary Nathaniel Leffler of Charleston, MO; and her beloved niece, Isabell Lucille Leffler of Fenton, MO; and countless close friends that she considered family.
A final request of Erica was that NO ONE wear black to her services. Please keep this in mind as you prepare.
