ERNEST M. LAYMON, JR., age 50, formerly of Sikeston, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born October 23, 1970, at Stewart, FL, to the late Earnest M. Laymon, Sr., and Mary Reynolds Laymon, he had been employed in the dietary department of the Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center.  He had lived in Sikeston most of his life, most recently moving to Charleston.

On January 12, 2010, he married Teresa Lynn Taylor, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Seth Laymon, Travis Laymon, Jerrett Pritchard and Alexandria Pritchard; his brother, Kelly (Mitzi) Laymon and his sister, Jamie (Jeremy) High.

Private services will be held.
