Ethel Marie Jones, 82, died March 10, 2019 at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.   She was born October 20, 1936 in Arkansas to the late Marshall and Daisy (Clark) Sterling.  She had been a cook at a nursing home in California, was of the Baptist Faith and had moved to Bertrand in February, 2016.  She was married March 4, 1954 to Milnie Ray Jones in Arkansas and he preceded her in death May 24, 1973.  Survivors include 1 daughter, Marie Fleeman of the home in Bertrand; 5 grandchildren, Charlie McCabe, Jason McCabe, January Jones, Wesley Jones and Jessica Jones; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Dennis Sterling,, Dwight Sterling and Robert Sterling all of Arkansas and 4 sisters, Kathy Sterling, Susie Sterling, Phyllis Sterling and Glenda Sterling all of Arkansas.  Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jackie Ray Jones and David Earl Jones and by 1 brother, Jerry Sterling.  She has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
