Evelyn Bernice Limbaugh, 86,  died Friday Jan 31, 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center.  She was born Feb. 2, 1933 in Sikeston to the late Amos Alfred and Bessie Bernice (Curtner) Johnson.  A 1951 graduate of Blodgett High School she was  resident of this area most of her life,  a long-time member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and had been a bookkeeper for P. J.'s Supply and Braswell Water Softners.

On March 22, 1952 she was married to Danny E. Limbaugh in Sikeston and he survives of the home.  Also surviving are 1 son,  Danny Michael "Mike" Limbaugh of Sikeston; 1 granddaughter, Tracy Rice of Cape Girardeau and 2 great grandchildren, Jude Rice and Emma Rice.  4 brothers: Amos Johnson, Donnie Johnson. Ronnie Johnson and Terry Johnson all of Sikeston; and 4 sisters: Geneva Greenlee, Lois Kirk, Joyce Holmes and Linda McClain also all of Sikeston.  One brother Lloyd Johnson preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 3, from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Steve Vester, her pastor and Rev. Amos Johnson her brother will officiate.  Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.  Pallbearers will be David Matthews, Scotty Jones, Chalk McClain, Keith Kirk, Kevin Roslen and Richie Johnson and Honorary Pallbearer will be Cora Taylor.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
