Evelyn Heppe Vanwinkle

EVELYN HEPPE VanWINKLE, age 57, died Monday, September 20, 2021, at her home in Bertrand.

She as born May 20, 1964, at East Prairie, MO, to the late Charles Heppe, Sr., and Linda Northern Heppe, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and especially going to the casinos with her kids.   She lived life to the fullest.

Surviving are her children, Margo Wilkerson, Jamie Wilkerson, Jr. and Darrell Wilkerson; her brothers and sisters, Barbara Matney, Charles (Bub) Heppe, Jr., Donna Heppe, Frank Heppe and Gary Heppe; also, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jamie Wilkerson, III., and her sister, Alice Jones.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
