Obituary
Flossie B. Williams, age 87, a resident of Charleston, Mo. died Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born January 22, 1924, in Charleston, Mo., to the late Lin and Carrie Berry she was married to the late Charles K. (Bud) Williams. "Bud" and several siblings preceded her in death.
Flossie worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston sixteen years and after graduating from the Sikeston School of Cosmetology she owned and operated Flossie's Beauty Shop from 1964 to 1989.
Surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Larry and Theda Williams of Sikeston, Mo; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and John Callan of Sappington, Mo.; one granddaughter, Camille Lancaster (Jay) and one grandson, Colby Williams both of Sikeston, Mo.; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private family burial service has been arranged.
A time of gathering for all family members and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the McMikle Funeral home in Charleston, Mo.
