Floyd E. Presley, Jr., age 71, of Sikeston, died Thursday, August 8, 2024, at his home in Sikeston.

Floyd was born October 21, 1952, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Floyd Everett Presley, Sr. and Mary Etta Thomas Presley.  A 1971 graduate of Sikeston High School, Floyd continued working for his dad in HVAC.  In 1987, Floyd bought the business from his father and began a career as the business owner and operator of Presley Sales and Service, a Carrier dealer, heating, cooling and refrigeration and plumbing.  Floyd loved taking the HVAC problems of others and solving them, making many lifelong friends along the way.

Floyd married his wife and best friend, Gail Freed Presley, on October 28, 1988.  Mrs. Presley survives of the home.

Also surviving are his sons, Aaron Presley and Tyler (Jennifer) Presley; his daughter, Lauren (Tyler) Smith; grandchildren, Kaydence, Hailey, Jayce, and Rylee; two brothers, Terry Presley and Marty Presley; also, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Rev. Charles Buck will officiate.

Interment will be private.
