Frances Marie Fann, 75, lovingly known as Marie, was born on March 12, 1950, in Big Spring, Texas to the late Raymond E. and Mary F. Copeland Underwood. She entered her eternal kingdom on September 11, 2025, surrounded by love at her son Kelley's home in Sikeston, Missouri.

Marie graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in 1968 in St. Louis. She then attended Southwest Missouri Baptist College in Bolivar, Mo where she graduated in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in education.

On May 31, 1975, she married the love of her life, Rainey Warden Fann, Jr at the First Baptist Church of Ferguson, Missouri. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year.  Their marriage was an example of true love and devotion, and he will truly miss her until they meet again.

Marie was a devoted school teacher for 11 years.  Later she became a social worker for the state of Missouri, where she retired many years later.

Marie's life was a testament to faith in the Lord, strength through hard times, and a deep unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, selfless love, her chocolate chip cookies, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Rainey W. Fann of the home in Sikeston, her sons, Kenneth Fann of Auxvasse, Mo and Kelley Fann (Melissa) of Sikeston, Mo; 13 grandchildren, Megan, Sebree, Torin, Sebastion, Mariah, Trevor, Baylee, Issabella, Gloryanna, McKenna, Solomon, Myles & Carter; two great grandchildren, Nyari & Desmond; her brother Glenn Underwood; two nieces Kelly Diane, Erin, and one nephew, Derek.

A service to honor Marie's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
