Freddy Glen Jones, Age 59, a resident of Rural Charleston, died at 8:40 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau.
Born June 11, 1950, at Wolf Island, MO to J.T. "Bud" Jones who survives of Bertrand and the late Margie George Jones. He had lived in Mississippi County his entire life and was a retired truck driver.
On November 12, 1971, he married Mary Ann Chandler, who survives of the home.
Surviving besides his wife and father are: two brothers, Johnny Jones and Tracey Jones both of East Prairie; two sisters, Elissa Ann Dallke of Sikeston and Ruth (John) Noonan of Bertand; six nieces, eight nephews, seven great nieces and six great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and one brother in law, Billy Chandler.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home. Dewayne Kirkpatrick, pastor of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: John W.L. Goodin, Lindsay Goodin, Arnold Brewer, Glenn Quertermous, Dwayne Coots, Chuck Harwell and John Noonan.
