Gary Wayne Wylde

Gary Wayne Wylde, age 77, of Blodgett, MO, died Friday, April 24, 2026, at the home of his stepson and daughter in law, in Jackson, MO.

Born October 5, 1947, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Ira Joseph Wylde and Burlee Ann Evans Wylde, he had lived in Charleston and later in Blodgett for a number of years. Gary had worked in construction but was a professional mechanic. He worked at Bootheel Tractor Parts, and various other places until his retirement.

On June 5, 1996, he married Cynthia Franklin, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his sons, Gary Wylde, Jr. and Timothy Wylde; his stepchildren, Timothy (Julia) Evans of Jackson and Tasha Evans of Webb City, MO; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; also, one brother, Loren (Faye) Wylde and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three grandchildren and his sisters, Shirley Ann Bedwell and Patsy Gould.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2026, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Graveside services will immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
