In Loving Memory of Geoffrey Scott Belk

November 10, 1966-April 12, 2024

Geoffrey Scott Belk, 57, son of James Andrew Belk and Carol Jackson Belk of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away on April 12, 2024, at home in Kissimmee, Florida.

Scott was born on November 10, 1966, to James Belk and the late Lonna Wallace Belk. Scott lived in Mississippi County, Missouri until he graduated from Kelly High School near Benton, Missouri. He then moved to Miami, Florida where he worked in the travel industry for many years until he became disabled.

Scott loved to travel and experience new places.  Scott loved everything Disney related, and he always had a smile for everyone.

He is survived by his father, James Belk and wife, Carol Belk of East Prairie, Missouri and his brother Shannon Belk of Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lonna Wallace Belk and his brother Steven Belk.

A memorial for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Powerhouse of God Church in East Prairie, Missouri with a dinner to follow. Reverend Jimmy Allen will be officiating the services.

Scott will be missed as he was very lovable and lived life to the fullest.  His face will shine forever in our thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.
