GEORGE OTHO "CRAZY COOTER" BROWN, age 66, died December 26, 2020, at his home in Charleston.

Born December 10, 1954, in Cairo, IL, to the late Roy S. Brown and Letha Vern Byford Brown, he lived in Charleston most of his life.

George worked at a car dealership right after high school, he was a true mechanic by trade. He soon moved on to Hall Trucking after losing sight in his right eye due to a work related incident. He loved to work on racecars and go to the races. George spend over half of his life at the racetrack.

Surviving is his daughter, Brandi (Doug) Fauble Glenwood, IA; grandchildren, Mercedes Fauble (Hank Hackett), Denna Fauble, Marissa Kell (Brandon Andresen), Alyssa Fauble, and Reese Fauble; brothers, Jim (Melissa) Brown of Harland, IN; Gary (Donna) Brown of Salem, MO; and Paul (Tammy) Brown of Charleston, MO; one sister, Beverly Wilson of Charleston, MO; soon to be great grandson, Hudson Wayne Hackett; nephews, George (Amber) Brown, Gerald (Brianne) Brown, Jason Brown, Paul (Alisha) Brown Jr., Brian (Jessica) Grigsby, Mikle (Kimber) Brown; nieces, Tammy (Steve) Norris, Corrinne (Kenny) Lyttle, Lynn Lara, Christina (Justin) Smith and Kerri Beth (Shane) Walter; and a number of great nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, Jane Ware; step daughter, Tammy Cattlet; one brother, Wayne Brown; and one nephew, Robbie Wilson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2020, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jimmy Brown will officiate.

Interment will follow at Delhi Cemetery in Cuba, MO under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be, Mikel Brown, Justin Smith, Roger Byford, Brian Grigsby, Brian Hillyard, and Steve Norris.

Honorary pallbearers will be,  Doug Fauble, James "Hounddog" Hall and Bernie Golinski.
