Dolores Crawford
SIKESTON — Georgia Dolores Crawford, 89, died at 7:35 a.m. June 13, 2012, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Jan. 31, 1923, in Sikeston, to the late John Foster Husher and Marjorie Bell Swanigon Husher, she was a housewife. A lifelong resident of Sikeston, she was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church and a former G.A. leader.
In 1946, at Piggott, Ark., she married Jewell Crawford, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Jerome Rennier of Sikeston and Sally and Charles Scales of Warner Robbins, Ga.; one brother, Robert "Bob" Husher of Calvert City, Ky.; and one sister, Betty Boyd of Sikeston.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
Blanchard Funeral Chapel of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
