Geraldine Virginia "Gerry" Ray, 86, a resident of this area most of her life, died at her home in Sikeston Monday, March 16, 2015. She was born Nov. 15, 1928 at Crowder to the late Raymond and Donnie (Flowers) Jeffries. She had been a waitress at The War Drum and Two-Tony's Restaurants and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Miles of Oran; 1 grandson, Chris Ray of Sikeston and 1 great-granddaughter, Ashley Ray of Sikeston, and was preceded in death by 1 half sister.
