Obituary
GERALDINE 'GERRY' SAMS HENSLEY, Age 87, a resident of Sikeston, died at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born November 28, 1921 at East Prairie, Missouri to the late William Paul and Etta Jane Perry Sams. She had lived in Roswell, New Mexico a number of years where she was employed with Social Security Administration until her retirement. The love of her life was her family and her church which she served faithfully all her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don Hensley.
Surviving are: One sister, Jeanne Sams Crowley of Sikeston; three nieces and one nephew; also several great nieces and great nephews.
One brother, Paul Vernon Sams and one sister, Kathleen Sams Baker, also preceded her in death.
Private burial will be in the South Park Cemetery at Roswell, New Mexico.
