GLADYS BROWN SEVIC, 99, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at her home in Wyatt.

Born May 12, 1920, in the Birds Point Community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Emory and Rose Etta Baugh Brown, she had lived in Wyatt most of her life where she worked for short time at Raffety's Store. She was devoted farm wife.

On January 9, 1953, she married Elmer R. Sevic, who preceded in death on February 11, 1996.

Surviving are her sister, Betty Brown of Wyatt; her nephews and nieces, Bart and Karen Carr, Susan and Larry Quade, Jeanne and Gary Adkisson and Ernest and Wenona Brown; also, a number of great nephews and great nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Brown and her sisters, Florence Carr and Glenna Taylor.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Kenneth Gibson of Wyatt, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Bart Carr, Ernie Brown, Larry Quade, Steven Galemore, Rick Galemore and Corey Adkisson.
