Glenda Sue Causey, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 10, 1935 at Salcedo, to the late William Arthur and Addie Bell (Couch) Miller. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of Christ Gospel Church at Millersville where she had been very active in all activities and had formerly taught Sunday School. She was married to Clifford Doyle Causey May 23, 1952 at Piggott, Arkansas and he survives of the home. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Valerie Causey of Sikeston and one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bill Knight of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; two sisters, Cartha Campbell of Elkhart, Indiana and Carolyn Miller of Sikeston. Other survivors include 5 grandchildren, Amber Coffey, Candice Holman, Lauren Coffey, Taylor & Ashley Causey and Joshua Knight; and 6 great-grandchildren, Kaden Coffey, Kailee-Ann Holman, Zoe Holman, Ziva-Beth Holman, Lincoln Coffey and Aubrey Causey. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Causey in 1960 and by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Sunday at First Assembly of God Church on South Kingshighway from 5 until 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Larry Matthews, pastor of Christ Gospel Church officiating and Rev. John McHaffie, pastor of First Assembly of God Church will assist. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield. Pallbearers will be Charles Miller, Mike Miller, Troy Miller, Norman Miller, Raymond Miller and Gene Newell. Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
