Glenda Joan Hess, 83, a long-time resident of Pontiac, Michigan, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at Heather Pines Assisted Living in Clarkston, Mich.    She was born April 28, 1935 in Blodgett to the late Donald and Daisy (Wagoner) Holder.  She had been a bookkeeper with the Oakland County Government.  On July 17, 1954 she was married to Harold "Bud" Hess in Aurora, IL and he survives of the home.   Other survivors include 2 sons, David Hess of Waterford, Mich. and Jamie Hess of Metamora, Mich.; 1 brother, Jerry (Kathy) Holder of Lapeer, Mich., and 1 sister, Betty Keirsey of Dexter.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren:  Samantha (Jonathan) Stems, Nicole (Julian) Edgar, Travis Hess and Kyle Hess.  Services were held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford, Michigan.  Visitation will be held at Blanchard Funereal Chapel in Sikeston from 5 until 8 pm, Monday, March 18.  Funeral service will be held in the Blanchard Chapel at 10:30 am Tuesday with Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will follow at the Blodgett Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be David Hess, Jamie Hess, Scott Keirsey, Keith Keirsey, Steve Keirsey and Ken Keirsey.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
