Glenda Sue Riley, 76, died Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Sikeston Convalescent Center.  She was born February 24, 1943 in New Madrid to the late William and Delcie (Phegley) Helms.

A life-long resident of this area, she was a member of the Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, had been a personnel manager at National Lock and office manager at Sikeston Concrete Plant.

She was married to Michael Riley Nov. 13, 1986 in Sikeston and he survives of the home.  Also surviving are 2 sons Tim Wheetley of Sikeston and Jamie (Brandy) Riley of Jacksonville, Florida.  Five grandchildren, Chance Wheetley, Trace Wheetley, Ellie Riley, Cannon Riley and Kayden Johnston also survive.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, C. R. York, Jr. and 1 brother, Bill Helms.

Graveside Memorial Rites will be held at 10:30 am Friday, July 26 at Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Rev. Rodney Dunlap, pastor of the Abundant Life in  Christ Church of Charleston will officiate. Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
