Glynell Hall, 74, a life-long resident of this area, died Thursday Dec. 7, 2017 at her home in Sikeston. She was born August 19, 1943 in Double Springs, Alabama to the late Charles Chester and Clara Leola (Sutherland) Garrison. She was a member of Morehouse Assembly of God Church and had been a dietician at Sikeston Regional Center and New Dawn State School until her retirement in 2000. She was married June 27, 1961 to James Raymond "Jim" Hall in Sikeston and he survives of the home. Also surviving are 1 son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Tim and Sheila Hall of Jackson; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Angela Susan Krueger and Sheila and Mark Noles of Sikeston; 1 brother, Kenneth Garrison of Sikeston; 8 sisters, Wynell Alcorn, Vernell Chaney and Rachel Reed all of Sikeston; Laverne Goins of Aquila, Louise Allred of Matthews, Revelle Hancock and Janet Evelle Olsen of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Sybil Childers of Austin, TX. Six Grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive. Two brothers preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 pm Tuesday, Dec. 12. Services will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm with her pastor and brother-in-law, Rev. Jerry Chaney officiating. Burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Active Pallbearers will be Dustin Williams, Christian Noles, Brooks Hall, Cody Reed, Aaron Dickson and David Alcorn. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Noles, Tim Allred and Bill Smith.
