Grace Elizabeth Ray, age 85, died Thursday, July 4, 2024, at her home in Morehouse.

She was born April 11, 1939, in California, to the late Melvin Graham and Epsie Mae Graham.  Having lived in Morehouse the past several years, she was a loyal, hardworking, determined woman. She loved grooming her yard and working in her flowers. She especially loved her bird, Cocoa Lee Ray.

She was first married to Junior P. Cureton, who preceded her in death on January 28, 1999.  She then married Roger Lee "Buck" Ray, who preceded her in death January 17, 2021.

Surviving are her children, Rick Cureton; James (Melissa) Cureton and Jackie Smith; 10 grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Williams and Laveda Norton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to both husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Randy Junior Cureton, Genie Montgomery and Johnny Cureton; and her brother, Ronnie Graham and her sister, Annette Huckleberry.

Private family services will be held.
