Grayson Shain Loomes, was born Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Sikeston, to Daelin Shain Loomes and Raleigh Nicole McDonald who both survive of Sikeston, and entered into heaven, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.  He was 3 months and 9 days old.

Grayson was a lot of things. He was the definition of life and hope. Since the day he was born he has made everyone smile. He was such a smiling, bubbly boy and in the three months he was here he made such a huge impact on everyone who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his father and mother is a loving extended family including, Uncles, Kenneth Eftink, Masen Loomes, Julis Jackson, Cameron McDonald, Seth Gaskins, Chris Gaskins, Dylan Banas;   grandparents, Julius Jackson, Savoy Jackson, Emma Nafe, Chris McDonald, Jennie McDonald, Derrick Loomes, Steven Gaskins; aunts, Noelle Nafe, Leah Loomes, Makayla Gaskins, Alexis Loomes; and papaw, Jeff Porter and mawaw, Teresa Porter and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence Miller, Billy Eakes, Terri Eakes and Steve Loomes; great grandparents, Kenny Dowdy and Rita Dowdy and his great uncle, Kenny Dowdy, Jr.

Private services will be held in the McMikle Funeral Home Chapel at Sikeston.  Jason Davis, pastor of Anchor Church, will officiate.
