Obituary
WALTER FRANK GREGORY DICKEY, Age 88, of Cape Girardeau, died May 30, 2017, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.
He was born November 12, 1928, at Kennett, MO, the fourth child of Frank W. and Ollie Ethel Gregory Dickey. On August 18, 1963, he married Jean Carolyn Garrett, who preceded him in death July 6, 2004. Two sisters and one brother also preceded him in death.
Survivors include three nieces and one nephew.
Dr. Dickey had taught at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau where he held the position of counselor educator. After retirement from the University, he and his wife travel extensively.
There will be no visitation or service.
Private burial was held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo., under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
