Gregory Dee "Greg" Laster, age 66, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born August 26, 1958, at Sikeston, MO, to late Randall Dee Laster and Reba Virginia Smith Laster and was a 1976 graduate of Charleston High School.   Greg had lived in Sikeston a number of years where he was employed as a welder at the Sikeston Power Plant.  He was longtime member of the Sikeston Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.  He also held memberships in the Carpenters Union No. 1770 and the IBEW.

Surviving is his brother, Winford Laster of Springfield, MO; his former wife, Nancy Curtis of Matthews; nieces, Emily Laster and Hailey Collins and nephew, Dalton Collins; also, his aunt, Judy Warren Smith of Charleston and a number of cousins.

There is no visitation.

Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston, MO.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston, MO

Pallbearers will be Winford Laster, Andrew French, Tommy Woods, Chris Faulkner, Chris Porter and Steven Smith.
