Harold Leroy Britt

Harold Leroy Britt, age 70, died Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home near Sikeston, MO.

Born October 24, 1954, at San Deigo, CA, to the late Harold Eugene Britt and Ida Aliean Bone Hall, he had lived in Sikeston most of his life where he was employed with the DeWitt Company for many years before his retirement.  He loved fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.

On August 8, 1989, he married Barbara Kay Marcum, who preceded him in death January 19, 2024.

Surviving is his daughter, Brandi Marie Britt (Danny) Bridges, of French Village, MO; a special daughter, Alaysia; step children, Tabitha (Chuck) Chesmore, William Brown, Jr. and Keith Marino; grandchildren, Laurissa Vogler and Halei Sanders; great grandson, Aiden Bundstein; great granddaughter, Kendall Cole; his brother, Rickie (Susan) Hall; his sisters, Monnie McDonald, Patricia (Donnie) O'Dell, Lisa (Charles) Overton, Lisa Lofton and Karen Seaton; a number of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In addition to his wife, father and mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Terry Jean Britt, Kay Britt and Connie McKnight and his stepfather, Billy Gene Hall.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Austin Maxwell will officiate.

A private burial will follow.
