Obituary

HAROLD DEAN HALEY, age 78, a resident of Charleston died on Friday, November 11, 2011, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born January 26, 1933 in Columbus, KY to the late Fred and Willie Maye Butler Haley, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life. A member of the Elm Street Baptist Church, he had worked with Pevely Tow Boat Company for several years and then worked at the Community Sheltered Workshop until his retirement in 1991.

On May 9, 1993 he married Betty Lou Sanderson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include six sons, Ray (Barbara) Haley of Sikeston, Gene (Marla) Haley of Rockford, IL, Jeff Ketchum and Joey (Teresa) Cissel all of Charleston, Anthony Williford of Cape Girardeau, and Mark Cissell who resides in the state of Oklahoma; three daughters, Betty (Charlie) Oliver and Patty (Jamie) Randall all of Charleston and Cindy Moore of Bertrand; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

One son, Donnie Cissell, and two brothers, Jack Haley and Fred Haley, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5:30 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church, will officiate.

The family will have private graveside rites at the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.
