HAROLD RAY PRESSON, age 91, of Diehlstadt, died Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born June 24, 1932, in the St. James Township of rural Mississippi County, MO, he had lived in Diehlstadt most of his life where he was a member of the former First Southern Baptist Church.  He later attended the Temple of Faith General Baptist Church in Sikeston.   He was a retired farmer and loved to sing and listen to Gospel music.

In October 1962, he married Peggy Crosno, who preceded him in death March 27, 2015.

Surviving are his children, Ronnie (Kim) Presson and Kathy (Greg) Northcutt; his grandchildren, Charlie Simmons, Alex Presson, Adam (Anna) Northcutt, Allison Northcutt and Ashley Northcutt; his brother, Danny Presson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Ray Presson; his brother, Howard Presson; and his sisters, Dorothy Stewart, Mabel Graban, Helen Martin and Betty Haley.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Allan Rhyne of Sikeston will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
