Harold Thomas Winkler Jr.

Harold Thomas Winkler, Jr. 51, a resident of Sikeston, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born in St. Louis June 9, 1962 to the late Harold Thomas Winkler, Sr. and Pearl (Freeland) Inman. A resident of this area most of his life, he had been employed for 13 years at the Sikeston Housing Authority and for the past few years by Louis May. He was married to Shelia Burton June 18, 1985 in Sikeston. He is survived by 1 son & daughter-in-law, Justin & Jessica Winkler of Sikeston; 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Melissa Counts of Bonne Terre, MO, Stephanie & Ryan Anderson of Sikeston and Amanda & Derek Bowers of Sikeston; 1 brother, Paul Freeland of East Prairie and 1 sister Linda Martinez of Morehouse; and by 8 grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by the dad who raised him, Bill Inman and by 1 brother, Eddie Freeland. Memorial Services will be held at Blanchard Funeral Chapel at 2:00 pm Friday, Feb. 21 with Rev.
