HELEN "LUCY" ADAMS KNUPP, age 67, formerly of Wyatt, died Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home in Bertrand.

She was born April 5, 1953 in Cairo, IL to Walter and Katie Woodruff Adams and lived the first few years of her life in East St. Louis. Her family then returned to Southeast Missouri where she lived the remainder of her life.  She was a member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt.

In 1976 she married James Arthur Knupp Sr. who survives of Anniston.

She is survived by her children, James Arthur."Jimmy" (Teresa)  Knupp and Katie Knupp (Danny) Uthoff all of East Prairie; four grandchildren, Katelin Desiree Wilmoth, Kimberly Dawn Knupp, Stanley James Knupp, and Brandon Curtis Knupp; and her beloved fur baby, Dollie Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ronnie Adams and Ricky Adams; and one sister, Carolyn Tousky.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:30 pm.. Rev. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Knupp, Mark Turner, David Turner, Leslie Wilmoth, Terry Clifton, and Danny Uthoff.
