HESTER LEE PEHM, age 86, a resident of Charleston, MO, died Tuesday, March 01, 2016, at the Charleston Manor.
Born May 16, 1929, at Blytheville, AR, to the late John Obie and Lula Bell Mann Hall, she had lived in Charleston most of her life where she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and had worked as an Avon Representative for 49 years.
On December 13, 1947, she married Leonard Rudolph Pehm, who preceded her in death October 30, 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Leonard (Nancy) Pehm, Jr. of Charleston and Terry Pehm of Bardwell, KY; 11 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, William Earl Carter, Patrick Pehm and Obie Pehm; one daughter, Susan Pehm Owens; three daughters in law, Annie Pehm, Rhonda Pehm and Paula K. Carter; three grandchildren, Tina Pehm, Rhonda Carter and William Carter, Jr; two brothers, George Lee Hall and J.R. Hall and two sisters, Etta Gibbons and Katie Lutz.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 4th, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
