HUBERT LEE "TONY" JONES, Age 76, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at his home in Wyatt.
Born January 5, 1940, at Wyatt, MO, to the late Edward Lee and Lorene Gertrude White Jones, he had lived Wyatt in his younger years and then moved to Carlisle County, Kentucky, where he lived over 40 years before returning to Wyatt. He had been a farmer and carpenter.
On March 18, 2004, he married Jewell Marean Garland, who survives of the home in Wyatt.
Also surviving are three sons, Thomas Edward Jones of Cunningham, Ky., Jerry Allen Jones of Bardwell, Ky., and Michael Lee Jones of Cunningham, Ky.; three daughters, Sherrie Dawn Elliott, Shannon Renee Jones and Nichole Michelle Simpson all of Bardwell, KY; one stepson, Aaron Scott Brown of Benton, KY; one sister, Brenda Wilson of Dahlonega, GA; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren on the way. Also, the mother of his children, Gretta Sue Jones, of Paducah, KY.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Edward Jones; four sisters, Mina Mefford, Dorothy Wilson, Marilyn Boin and Susie Jones.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time for the memorial services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO., Kenneth Gibson, of Wyatt, will officiate.
