Ila Faye "Toot" McDaniel, 73, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born June 21, 1940 at Birdtown, Arkansas to the late Rome Eugene and Lavada Opal (Kirtley) Scroggins. A resident of this area for the past 30 years she was of the Assembly of God Faith. On Oct. 14, 1963 she was married to Carnie Willis McDaniel at Kennett and he survives of the home. Also surviving are one son, Scotty Lynn McDaniel of the home; one daughter, Dena McDaniel of Tallahassee, FL; 2 sisters, Nina Gray of Steele and JoAnn Caston of Tallahassee; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time for funeral service at 1:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Wayne Davidson, a friend of the family will officiate. Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
