Obituary

Mary Imogene Gady, age 84, of Sikeston, MO., died Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Delta South Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO.

Born August 22, 1941, at Charleston, MO, to the late Pershing Lee Hayden and Ruby Pearl Wilson Hayden, she had lived in Sikeston most of her life where she was employed with the Toy Factory and then Unilever for 26 years until her retirement.   She had attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On November 29, 1958, she married Larry Gene Gady, who preceded her in death, December 22, 1994.

Surviving is her grandson, Nicholas (Tasha) Raidt; her grandchildren, Nate and Breanna; her sister, Emma Faye Higgins; her son in law, Johnny B. Raidt; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Kay Raidt; her brothers, Bobby Gene Hayden, James Lee Hayden, Danny Ray Hayden; her sisters, Ruby Nell Meeks. Janice Sue Woods and Patricia Ann Walters

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., December 4, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.  Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
