Obituary
IMOGENE MILLER age 89, a resident of Bertrand, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.
She was born February 18, 1927 in Bertrand to the late Walter Narvel and Rena Hall Syre. She lived in Bertrand most of her life where she was a member of the Cornerstone Church. She loved her family and babysat for every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On March 25, 1945 she married Ogle Miller who preceded her in death on November 27, 1988.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Helms and Julie Miller both of Sikeston, and Connie (Danny) Marshall of Bertrand; three grandchildren, Michael Helms, Bryan Marshall, and Lori Bryan; eight great grandchildren, Brittany Helms, Torrie Helms, Kaylea Bryan, Cooper Bryan, Skyler Marshall, Bryson Marshall, Jordan Rogers and Nathan Rogers; two great-great grandchildren, Carson Helms and Mollee Marcum; and one very special friend, Cora Simpson of Sikeston .
Family and friends will assemble at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston at 11:30 am on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Rev. David Cullen, pastor of Cornerstone General Baptist Church in Bertrand, will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
