Obituary

IRVIN BENJAMIN MORGAN, age 92, formerly of Charleston, MO, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Crossville, TN.

Born December 21, 1917, at Dongola, IL, to the late Benjamin Henry and Clossie Louette Coffman Morgan, he had lived in Charleston a number of years moving to Crossville, TN in 2003. He was a member of the church of Christ, the Carpenter Local Union at Metropolis, IL, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II having achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He married Lucy Maxine Rader on February 14, 1942 who preceded him in death on May 9, 1972. On December 27, 1974, he married Wanema Robinson Parks who preceded him in death on November 7, 2003. He then married Edna Brady in November 18 2006, who survives him of Crossville, TN.

Surviving are: one daughter and son in law, Deborah Lyn and Jerry Holman of Crossville, TN; two sisters, Alta Mae, and her husband, Richard Hinkle of Paducah, KY; Betty Lou Barnett of Ullin, IL; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

One son, Craig Irvin Morgan; one daughter, Pamela Sue Hill and one sister, Wanda Myrl, all preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. His son in law, Jerry Holman, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery near Villa Ridge, IL under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home. Military graveside rites will be provided by the United States Air Force, the Missouri Military Honors Program, and bugler, Earl Gidcumb of Wickliffe, KY.
