J. T. Wilson, age 95, died at his home near Sikeston, Saturday, January 18, 2020.  He was born August 8, 1924 near Salcedo, to the late Thomas and Rosie (Butler) Wilson.

A resident of this area all of his life, he was of the Baptist Faith and a retired Farmer.

He married Frances Mae White May 6, 1957 in Benton and she preceded him in death June 6, 1996.  He is survived by 2 sons, J. Thomas "Tom" Wilson and Tim & Sheila Wilson all of Sikeston; 2 daughters, Judy Miller of Bloomfield and Patty Wilson of Sikeston; 3 grandchildren, Timothy (Mandy) Wilson, Thomas Wilson and Ricky Doles; and 5 great-grandchildren:  Alexis Wilson, Thomas J. Wilson, Autumn Wilson, Logan Moore and Lela Moore; and by 1 great-grandson, Taylon Scott Martin.  In additioin to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan 22, from 1:00 pm until time for services at 2:00 pm at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Dwayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Blodgett Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wimberley, Tim Holman, Timothy Wilson, Ricky Doles, Ronnie Johnson amd Jeff Bissel.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfuneral.com.
