Jackie Chipman

Jacqueline Ruth "Jackie" Chipman, age 91, of Matthews, died May 19, 2022, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, MO.

She was born September 8, 1930, at Exeter, CA, to the late George Edward Keller and Luverha Ruth Adams Keller.  Jackie had lived in the Matthews area most of her life. A graduate of the San Francisco School of Nursing, she had been employed as a physical therapist for over 30 years at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston until her retirement.  She was a member of the North Acres General Baptist Church in Sikeston a number of years where had taught Sunday School and had been a former member of Job's Daughters International.

On July 29, 1950, she married Harold "Hob" Chipman, who preceded her in death on March 8, 2010.

Surviving is her son, Mike (Joy) Chipman of Portageville, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, a special friend and caregiver, Frances Nichols.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Keller.

Family and friends may gather at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022.  Graveside services will immediately follow at the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
