Jackie E. Ditto, age 64, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his home near East Prairie, MO, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 14, 1960, at East Prairie, to the late Edmond Arlin Ditto and Rosa Camille Loomis Ditto who survives of East Prairie, he was a graduate of East Prairie Schools and had lived in East Prairie most of his life. He was employed for a number of years with Alan Wire in Sikeston, then later with Noranda Aluminum at Marston and Ferguson Medical Group in Sikeston before his retirement. He was of Baptist belief.
On April 10, 1982, he married Karen Lee Wright, who preceded him in death June 11, 2015.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughters, Rhonda (Shawn Aters) Cobb and Becky (Dustin Holman) Ditto of East Prairie; his grandchildren, Katie (Josh) Lornson, Daniel (Autumn) Cobb, II and Kaylinn Cobb; great grandchildren, Owen, Bella, Berklee and Charlotte Lornson and Daniel Cobb, III; his brothers and sisters, Teddy (Mary) Ditto and Danny Ditto of East Prairie; Shirley Grisso of Bertrand, Cynthia Massey of Benton and Debbie Minehart of New Madrid; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marvin J. "Red" Ditto and his brothers, James Stone and Bobby Ditto.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Stanley Triplett will officiate.
Private family burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
