Jackie Lynn Donaldson Carnell

Jackie Lynn Donaldson Carnell, age 64, of Alford, Florida, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Opp Health & Rehabilitation Center in Opp, Alabama following an extended battle with cancer.

Jackie was born in Charleston, Missouri to the late Miles (Bob) Donaldson and Dorothy (Joan) Parker Miller. 

She leaves behind two children, Lindsay Cross of Farmington, Missouri and Lee (Megan) Carnell (of Park Hills, Missouri and grandsons Dillon and Jacob Cross of Morley, Missouri. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother: Karen (Steve) Bailey of Sikeston, Missouri, Patti Donaldson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Milesa (Kevin) Curtis of Woodstock, Georgia, David Donaldson of Atlanta, Georgia, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Schmidt of St. Charles, Missouri and Jo Ellen Meeks of Bertrand, Missouri and brothers, Robert “Bob” (Cheryl) Donaldson of Farmington, Missouri, Tim Donaldson of Alford, Florida and John Donaldson of Alford, Florida.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Farmington, Missouri.
