James Raymond Hall, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston. He was born December 23, 1935 at Hutchinson, Kansas to the late John Franklin and Alma (Felke) Hall. A long-time resident of Sikeston, Jim had attended Parker Memorial Pentecostal Church and also Smith Avenue Church of God. He had worked assembly lines at Anchor Toy and the Sikeston Shoe Factory; and later worked at Eakins Scrap Metal and became a scrapper and collector. On June 27, 1961 he was married to Glynell Garrison in Sikeston and she preceded him in death Dec. 7, 2017. He is survived by 1 son Tim Hall of Jackson; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law Angela Susan Krueger of Sikeston and Sheila and Mark Noles of Sikeston. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by his step-mother who raised him, Pansy Hall and by 1 sister. Visitation will be Monday, Jan.21 from 11:00 am until time for services at 1:00 PM in Blanchard Funeral Chapel. His son, Rev. Tim Hall, will officiate and burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Noles, Christian Noles, Brooks Hall, Cody Reed, Tim Allred, David Alcorn and Bill Smith. Online condolences may be shared with the family at blanchardfunereal.com.
