James Howard "Jim" Limbaugh, 86, a long time resident of Spring, Texas,  died July 31, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas.

He was born June 6, 1933 in Sikeston to the late Ernest Lee and Pauline (Henley) Limbaugh.  He graduated Sikeston High School in 1951, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1956, and then served  in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.  He was married to Shirley Limbaugh in California.

Survivors include 1 son, Dean Limbaugh of Spring, Texas; 1 daughter, Amy Limbaugh of Tomball, Texas and 1 granddaughter, Heather Nolte also of Tomball, Texas.  One brother, Danny E. Limbaugh of Sikeston and several nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 aunt also survive.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters.

Graveside funeral services will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield at 9:00 am Monday, Dec. 23, 2019 with Rev. Steve Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church officiating.  Full military honors will be provided by the Missouri Military Honors Program.
