James "Todd" Markland, 30, died at his home Feb. 17, 2013. He was born June 18, 1982 at Dexter to Donald Ray Markland, who survives of Sikeston, and Lisa Kay (Burton) Stone, also of Sikeston. A lifelong resident, he had been employed as a cook and manager at Dexter Bar-B-Que and was an avid bowler and had bowled 300 games multiple times. He had been married to Tracey Lee Markland. Besides his parents he is survived by 2 sons, Dustin Sean Markland and Landin James Markland both of the home; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Merle Burton of Sikeston; 1 brother, David Markland of Lilbourn and by 1 sister, Tiffany Marie Franklin of Sikeston.
