James Eugene O'Guin

James Eugene O'Guin, age 65, of East Prairie, MO, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, MO.

Born June 28, 1960, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Eugene O'Guin and Shirley Ann Ashley O'Guin, he grew up in East Prairie and attended East Prairie Schools.  For a number of years, he lived in Wisconsin before returning to East Prairie.  He was a lifelong building contractor until ill health forced his retirement.   He had attended Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.

Surviving are his children, Kyle (Avery) O'Guin, Kyle John (Karina) O'Guin; Christopher O'Guin and Faith Brown; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Isabelle, Kyle, Jr., Kiora, Kairi and Koby and Paisley and Owen; his brothers, David (Kathy) O'Guin and Donald (Linda) O'Guin; also, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith Franklin O'Guin and Thomas Brian O'Guin and his sisters, Shirley Jean O'Guin and Angelia Ann Winfield.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie, MO.
