James Charles Riffert, age 69, of New Madrid, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, MO.

He was born February 2, 1955, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but had lived in St. Louis most of his life.  In 2023, he moved to New Madrid to be near his close friend.

Surviving are special friends, Brenda of New Madrid and Robin of Chicago.

Private family services will be held.
