James Edward Warren Jr

JAMES EDWARD WARREN, JR., age 48, died Sunday, April 6, 2025, at his home in East Prairie, MO.

He was born on January 2, 1977, in Amarillo, TX, to the late James Edward Warren, Sr., and Barbara Ann Hutton Warren.  He had lived in East Prairie for the past several years, moving there from East Lynne, MO.

Surviving is his son, Jonathan Davis Warren of Jackson, MO; his daughter, Leighann Nicole Warren of East Prairie; his sisters, Gloria Jean Tuschhoff and Beverly Ann (Jamie) McDowell both of East Prairie and Kristin Leigh (Michael Henry) Jervis of Linden, VA; his nephews, Justin Gribble, Jonathon Tanner, Steven Tanner, Jacob Patrick and Matthew Allen Dorris; James was also loved by his many great nieces and great nephews, along with many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  Keith Cook of East Prairie will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO, under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Jamie McDowell, Matt Dorris, Jonathan Warren, John Riley, Bill Hutton and Tedie Hill.
