Jamie Allen, age 45, passed away at her home near Charleston, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 10, 1979, at Schenectady, NY to the late Charles Riley and Patricia Sanders, she would later move to Jacksonville, FL where she attended the University of North Florida and was awarded her bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy.  She went on to work in medical transport and elementary education.  In 2024, she moved to Charleston to be near her husband's family.

On July 1, 2011, she married Jon Allen, who survives of the home.

Also surviving is her son, Maximilian Allen of the home; her sister, Suzanne Riley of Troy, NY and Eric Riley of Colorada Springs, CO, as well as her husband's extended family in Charleston, Mo.

Private services will be held.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
