Jana Cowan Wooley

Jana Elaine Cowan Wooley, age 73, of Bloomfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2926, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 6, 1953, in St. Louis, MO, to the late John Cowan and Virginia Holt Cowan, she was a 1971 graduate of Sikeston High School. Jana had lived in Sikeston most of life where she was involved in the family business, Cowan Construction Company, proudly working as a crane operator. For the last 35 years she had lived in Bloomfield, MO.

She married the love of her life, Alvin James “Al” Wooley, and he survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Also surviving is her daughter and son in law, Brandy and George Parr of Sikeston; her grandchildren, Jarred Jones, Kyle Parr and Tesla (Justin) Rayfield and her great grandchildren, Roman, Liam and Keaton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Cowan.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
