JANICE LEA (OAKES) BOOTH

Janice Lea (Oakes) Booth, 58, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Sikeston, Missouri.

Janice was born to Hazel Helen Oakes and William Daniel Oakes, on April 22, 1966, in Sikeston, Missouri. She attended school at Kelly where she would obtain her GED. She then worked as a teacher's aide at Christian Life Community School in Sikeston for a number of years. Janice went on to marry Andrew Booth on August 27, 1988.

Janice enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling with her sisters, spending time with loved ones, and attending church when she was able. She loved nothing more than her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and Grand mommy who brought warmth and love to those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Andrew Booth; her children, Andrew J. Booth, Thomas (Timberlee) Booth, Amanda Reynolds, and Timothy Booth; and her cherished grandchildren, Adeline, Lucas, and Everett Reynolds; Chloe, Brooklyn, Jaxon, and Gracie Booth; and Scarlett Gary. She is also survived by her sisters; Marva Oakes, Cindy (Doug) Palan, Lisa (Joel) Donmeyer, and her brother; Steve (Kristal) Oakes.

Janice was preceded in death by her father, William Daniel Oakes; her mother; Hazel Helen Oakes. Her siblings; James Daniel Oakes, Beverly Quay Oakes, William Jerry Oakes, Barbra Haley, Charlotte Vincent, and Debra Blagg.

A memorial service to honor Janice's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at New Life Christian Center in Morley, Missouri. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
