Jeff Franklin Hale, 54, formerly of New Madrid, Sikeston and Dexter, died a his home in Cape Girardeau Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. He was born July 15, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late John Franklin and Margaret Ellen (Gross) Hale. He was a graduate of New Madrid County Central Schools and had attended printing school in Oklahoma. He had been a press operator at New Madrid Free Press, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau. He was married to Sharon Hale in 1983 in Sikeston and she preceded in death in 1984. One brother, Randy Lee Hale preceded him in death Aug. 18, 2015. Survivors include 2 brothers, Ray Hale of Cape Girardeau and Tracy Hale of Sikeston; 1 sister, Virginia Blaylock of Jackson; 2 half-brothers Danny Hale of Cape Girardeau and John Hale of Jackson and 2 nephews and 1 niece. Visitation will be from 10 am until 11 am Saturday, Jan 9 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am in the chapel with Rev.
